About N:OW FITNESS + RECOVERY
N:OW FITNESS may be a strange name for a gym, but there is an amazing story behind it! Throughout my adult life, I always said wasting time was my biggest pet peeve. I wanted to be on a schedule that was productive. I started thinking about opening a gym at the end of 2023. At the same time I was designing the tattoo that would ultimately go on my hand, the biggest tattoo risk of my life.
The tattoo ended up being N:OW inside of a pocket watch, in memory of my grandfather. It says that the time is always now and every time I look at my hand, it reminds me of my grandfather. As my tattoo artists was inking my hand, I had an epiphany. What a better name for a gym than N:OW FITNESS. The following has never been truer: We make TIME for those things that are important to us. If you aren’t making time, you haven’t convinced yourself it is important enough. That is the ultimate statement in the journey of fitness and health.
It is now my purpose to help a group of people (hopefully you) find a path to make fitness important enough to you. I have spent countless hours designing a concept that will help facilitate your journey. This is a club for everyone. It is cliche to say we are going to break the mold, but I hope we can break a few molds! I can promise you that I and the staff will help you in any way that we can. We will be in the club working and working out. We will become friends. We will find a way to support your journey.
I was wrong, wasting time should not have been my pet peeve. Rather, I am learning to cherish time and make time for the things that are important to me.
